A historic dwelling first recorded in 1390, Mill Cottage was built in 1700. Very recently it has been lovingly restored to provide luxury holiday accommodation and is set in a beautiful rural area just 4 miles from Looe. This 5 star character property has been completely refurbished with great care and attention to detail and now provides a homely base from which to relax and explore this stunning part of Cornwall.

Mill Cottage is in Pelynt, a small village just 4 miles from Looe and 3 miles from Polperro - both magical working fishing harbours. The village of Pelynt boasts 2 shops and a pub/restaurant and is within a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Steeped in history Pelynt can be traced back to the Doomsday Book, and the 16th Century inn The Jubilee (renamed to celebrate Queen Victorias Golden Jubilee) serves good food and is family friendly. 
The lounge benefits from a log burner and for your entertainment a TV and DVD player. All the quality furnishings are brand new, the leather suites will ensure a relaxing end to a hard day on the beach or sightseeing or exploring the 13 acre farmland on your doorstep - a haven for a wide variety of wildlife including badgers, foxes and many birds. 
Polperro - just 3 miles away and one of the most picturesque harbour villages in Cornwall. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Mill Cottage is perfectly placed to explore the stunning coastline and lovely, lush Cornish countryside. It is just 30 minutes drive from The Eden Project and 45 minutes to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, both a must see.
